Before ordering foundation I would like a steadier way to check my undertone. Phone pictures often look much warmer indoors than in outdoor shade. This time I want to use the same window and a plain neutral wall. I am going to check two neutral fabrics close to my jawline in each photo. I am trying not to overread one picture I will compare several shots taken within the same ten minutes. I found this skin undertone test camera gave me a clearer order for making the comparison. With a few consistent images I can compare a few base shades in the same daylight. If this method sounds familiar, could you say whether which simple step matters most before comparing undertones? I know a camera cannot replace seeing real skin in changing light, and I am not expecting a perfect answer from one home experiment. My goal is simply to make the next store visit less confusing. Keeping a short record of conditions should also help me recognize when a surprising result is probably caused by lighting rather than my actual coloring.
